As Long as There is a Chance!

What are you saying? Give up and die? Don't even try? If all of us had succumbed to that attitude towards the previously untouchable tobacco corporations, they would still be making the big bucks off of our getting our children hooked today, and the government would have gotten away with injecting us with syphilis (as they did to black males in the fifties and sixties), or plutonium (Rochester experiments on pregnant women during the fifties), or my personal favorite, sending us to a jungle to die for their own egos (I cite Johnson's taped conversations in the White House). Thankfully there are people out there who are stubbornly persistent despite the odds (and public attitude) being against them.

If there is any chance, no matter how small or ridiculous it may be, that the government is hiding information from us on the matter of UFOs/ETs, then any reasonable effort made towards exposing this alleged deceit is worthwhile. I personally don't think the government is hiding anything in this regards and that the UFO/ET phenomenon is a joke, so if any information is actually ever revealed, the laugh will be on people like me and you (not that I will care, since I'm only interested in the pursuit of truth and in the end, the only thing that matters is that the truth will have been

But this is still besides the point, the point being that people within the government are not above the law or the Constitution. The DOD could have simply said that, "We don't have to tell you anything," when Peter made his FOI request, but they didn't, they claimed they made a thorough and reasonable search -- which in hindsight appears to have been a lie. No thorough or reasonable search was made that I can see, therefore they committed perjury before a judge of their own law. In my opinion, Peter has an excellent case against the DOD in that regard. So if you are a believer, you should be encouraging Peter, not discouraging him.

I still do not think that a thorough and reasonable search will turn up anything significant for the UFO community, but at least it will send a message to the government to shape up or ship out. Afterall, the government doesn't have a right to decide what is best for us or not and therefore by extension, what we have a right to know or not, because we are a democracy and that means it is We the People that have the right to decide what is best for ourselves and not some pie-in-the-sky aristrocratic bureaucrats.

It is obvious that if the government is really hiding anything about the UFO/ET phenomenon, someday they will be exposed for their lies, and that will be the beginning of the end for the big government bureaucracy era because everyone will finally realize that no government has the right to be allowed to decide what to keep or what not to keep secret from the people they are supposed to be serving and representing.
